Ian Bell Apology and Retraction

     20 September - PC Zone -- This morning we received an email
   message from Elite co-author Ian Bell in which he responded to a news
   story we published last week. In it we stated that a press release issued
   by Bell was a 'deliberate piece of misinformation' and 'almost entirely
   factually inaccurate'. We also stated that bell put 'misleading excerpts
   from email correspondence between himself and CIX staff on the site'.
   We now know these statements to be false and wish to retract our
   story. 

   We are assured by Bell that all the facts of the press release were
   'checked before release for full factual accuracy'. We would like to
   apologise to Mr Bell for any harm caused by this story.
